SUMMER ACTIVITIES PHASE 1 2020
Savanna Public Schools has determined it is safe as of June 15, 2020 to resume activities with restrictions. The safety of our student athletes as well as all coaches/staff members is a top priority. We have met over the last several weeks to put together a plan that is safe for all, to the best of our abilities. The following recommended procedures will be put in place at all athletic facilities throughout our school district. We have considered recommendations from the CDC, OSSAA and others.
The summer workouts are VOLUNTARY. Non-participation will not be counted against any coach or student-athlete. However, we highly encourage all athletes 7th-12th to participate if the child and guardian feel comfortable in doing so!
PHASE ONE- JUNE 15TH THROUGH JULY 5TH
On June 15th, 2020 Savanna summer activities will begin. Coaches may only focus on strength and conditioning. There will be NO CAMPS, CLINICS, OR SUMMER LEAGUES.
All coaches and athletes must comply with the following guidelines and restrictions in ALL SPORTS:
2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR PHYSICALS INFORMATION
We will have a Dr. on site to perform physicals for the 2020-2021 school year for all Savanna student-athletes. The physicals will take place at the Savanna Cafeteria (all social distancing guideline will be implemented). Date and times are listed below. Physicals are $10
Female athletes- July 17 – 10am
Male athletes- July 24 – 10am

IF YOU KNOW OF A CHILD WHO MAY BE IN NEED OF SERVICES, PLEASE CONTACT US.
